Reunion Dinner Night

Man I would have enjoyed Steamboat better. But we had a normal dinner with rice and dishes. Anyway I helped my mom prepare the food! HOW NICE! I'm such a filial daughter. We had abalone, Shark's Fin soup, Fish, Mixed Veggies and Chicken. I didn't like the chicken. It looked and tasted weird.

Anyway after dinner my sister (Joy), Nikki and I sat in the living room and watched "Something's Gotta Give". AWKWARD SHOW PLOX! Like old people making out, having sex and whatsoever! Then you have scenes with Keanu Reeves being so intimate with an OLD lady. Like my granny's age. Disturbing. Not being able to continue watching, my sister asked if we wanted to go out, so yeah okay we prepared to go out. My dad fetched us to Sengkang so my sister could change. But while we were at Sengkang waiting for my sister, she told us that her Boyfriend Kevin, called. Saying that he was coming and was already on his way. When my sister heard it she was...err...shocked? Angry? Disappointed? HAPPY?! I have no idea. So we couldn't go out.

I have a FREAKING scandalous family. So we were watching "Somethings gotta give" with the elderly making out. Then my family starts this disconcerting conversation..
Note: My granny keeps telling us to marry a rich old man with a weak heart. So after the marriage, you give him a big scare, kill him and inherit all his assets....

Conversation 1:
Granny: Kevin(Joy's bf) put on weight huh?
Joy: No lah. Why you ask?
Nikki: Ahmah's checking him out.

Conversation 2:
Granny: See! -points at TV- You should marry a rich old man with a weak heart.
Nikki, Joy, Me: -stares distastefully-
Nikki: So scandalous lah, Ahmah!
Joy: How about your New Zealand boyfriend? Does he still come visit you?
Me: He wouldn't need to VISIT if Ahmah married him instead of a Singaporean.
Ahmah: Ya lah. Stupid. Now your papa so disobedient.
Me: Because you chose the Asian!
Nikki: Still dating after your married ah? Ahmah, Aiyoh lah!
Joy: When is he coming? I'll take him out to lunch. Alone.
Ahmah: Okay.
Joy: Alone! Meaning without you.
Nikki: Joy's going to find out why you didn't marry him.

Conversation 3:
Granny: Are you sure about Kevin? So many boyfriends...
Nikki: Scandalous lah!
Joy: Because Ahmah is scandalous. I got her genes. If she wasn't I might not be like this.
Me: -Hoping I didn't get that particular gene-


I'm actually excited to wear my outfit tomorrow. That damn Sharmila messaged me and told me she still couldn't believe that I'm wearing a skirt. Idiot.

Okay monday event people,
Drus, Shar, Den, Beryl, Carol better not back out. I'm warning you.
My sis brought this game called "knowing you knowing me". The game where the fun is finding out about your friends!
In the game, a person would be asked a question. For example: What would be ____'s dream job? You basically put the person's name in the blank. Like for example Cheryl. So the question would be: What would be Cheryl's dream job? I THINK WE ALL KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS ONE.
So all the game players would write their answers on a piece of paper. And if the answer matches Cheryl's answer, you win a point. Hmmm... My answer would be TAITAI.

So the plan for monday would be games and more games! Of course dinner and supper. NOT FORGETTING SPARKLERS! Drus is getting the drink sparkling juice or something cause we're playing sparklers. Wth?

I'm blogging while eating Bak Gua. My parents got this minced one. So my sister was commenting that the maker is very smart. Cause if you eat minced bak gua, you wouldn't know that you might actually be eating more than 1 huge piece. Also the flavouring and barbecuing really hides the actual taste of the pig so the eater would not know what part of the pig is it. Sigh... So demoralizing...
