All in a day's work
I WROTE 'CHEESE FRIENDS' INSTEAD OF 'CHEESE FRIES' ON THE ORDER SHEET AND I DIDN'T REALISE UNTIL MY SUPERVISOR ASKED WHAT WAS IT.I'm that awesome.
From then on, I've been 'suaned' over and over by my colleagues as their cheese friend. Very good.
Supervisor: Why are your apple slices not standing?
Me: Cause standing is too tiring. I prefer lying down.
Supervisor: Go eat some cheese and you'll feel better.
Besides dropping dead every single day when I get home out of sheer exhaustion... Okay weekdays are rather slack. Weekends are horrible, it's so tiring that I start bleeding from my nose and I never had a nose bleed before in my life.
BUT I GET TO EAT ANYTHING I WANT FROM THE MENU. Or as long as the shop has it, I'm allowed to eat it. FOR FREE.
Made for myself Onion Rings and a Crepe filled with Marshmallows and chocolate fudge topped with Malt Krispies Ice Cream. It was frickin delicious in case you didn't know. I put more marshmallows and chocolate for myself. HAHAHAHAHAHAH. Yes. I did.
I CAN MAKE A NICE CREPE FINALLY. First few times it was either too thin or too small. Today it finally looked nice. My supervisor saw and went, "Why you make for yourself so nice, to customers look so ugly? Why you so mean?"
I SWEAR TO GOD IT WAS NOT ON PURPOSE. I perhaps subconsciously really love myself.
My job might sound real sucky with the long and ungodly hours. But I kinda enjoy it. It's not mundane/monotonous. It's really dynamic. I don't just sit around and file stuff or type like hell. I am surrounded by food. Plus, all that 10 over hours of standing seriously burns calories.
Seriously considering working in the F&B sector/get a F&B Degree. It's crazy, tiring and really tough. But it's not boring.
WHICH UNI HAS F&B RELATED BACHELOR COURSES?!
