Silence is Deafening

Silence is Deafening. I mean it. Yesterday I slept with the air-condition on. Hence I had to shut all windows. And since now my aircon is fixed, it doesn't make much noise. So in this complete silence, this scream-like sound pierced my ears. It was loud and horrible. Now I know why someone came up with the line, "Silence is deafening". It's nothing emo or anime-ish, it's true.

ANYWAY, today I didn't have guitar so I went to Gardens to shop at NTUC. Then when I came back, I almost died cause I didn't see the car. The driver didn't seem to have noticed me... ah well. I'm alive anyway.

Then I went to get wanton noodles to eat for lunch while waiting for Adeline to pop over. When I reached my gate, THERE WAS THIS LIZARD JUST HAPPILY HUGGING THE GATE HANDLE.
Mind you, this is not the kitchen lizard which measures only 5cm. It's those garden ones that look like baby iguanas.

I was about to stretch my hand to open it, then the lizard moved, then when I saw it a retracted my hand immediately. Then I made loud noises at it and waved my hand but that stubborn lizard just refused to move. So I just stood outside and stared at it. It stared at me too. Then I TALKED TO IT. I named it Mr Liz(it sounds like both a guy and a girl's name which is intended cause I didn't know its gender). Told it what I typed in the previous 2 paragraphs. Then I got desperate and begged. THE BOTH OF US JUST STARED AT EACH OTHER FOR A GOOD 5 MINS. Then I was worried my wanton noodles will turn cold so I called my dad out to open the gate.

Anyway Adeline came while I was eating my lunch and she probably got tempted so she begged me to go down with her to eat chicken rice. So I did go down, but I just drank Iced Tea while she had her Chicken Rice.

After lunch, we started an intense gaming session. Devil May Cry 3. I COMPLETED THE GAME! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! YES YES YES!!!

Anyway we played till 630 then Adeline went home cause my sister brought my family out for dinner. Cause of Mother's Day.

My brain now is fried due to the gaming session. So I'm gonna wash up and rest. Phew....
