That's How the World is

One of my more vague post. I'm probably going to cram all the major flaws of the World today. Including people too. Might be quite controversial... =|

First off, THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. Maybe I'm missing something here but how exactly do people pick the top billboard songs? Okay so you have people voting for the best song, but isn't that really opinionated? Not everyone likes that song or genre....
I mean I realized nowadays, the billboards are filled with very scandalous songs. And recently, Justin Timberlake's Future Sex album. But I don't like ANY of the billboard songs. So music charts and awards might be quite subjective.

I mean, if your rating by genre, it makes a hell lot more sense. But if you say that the best OVERALL song is soandso, I do wish to beg to differ. Nowadays Billboards seem to much prefer R&B, or scandalous songs, so for people who enjoy such genres, you'd think this is all rubbish.

You say it's popular because people like such stuff. But people CAN LIVE WITHOUT it if you didn't give them a chance to dwell on it.

Another thing is, the recent top songs are pretty bad influence. Then people go around asking why is the new generation of youngsters like that? We all know the media is exceptionally influential, and being youngsters, probably more of teenagers, we'd be trying to find who or what we really are. So things affect and effects us. Why do song artists or film producers show things that are bad? And yet, when they have children, they would want their children to be good?
Here I'm talking about the more sane and less sadistic people. I remember reading a comment in youtube on the "Where is the Love" song MTV. The author said, "I hate this song. I love wars."
It is disturbing to know that such people live among us. The new age Hitlers. -shudders-

Next, after learning about the education system in Singapore. Or maybe to be more specific, knowing more about independent schools, I feel that it's such a conspiracy.
Let me explain...

We know Independent Schools can do practically anything they please with the School. That's what the conspiracy is.

Let me list down...

1. They can charge higher school fees. Wouldn't that make their school extremely rich? How can the non-independent schools catch up? Independent schools can charge $100++ while Autonomous only charge $20 odd. We don't even have to say how much the other schools charge to know that Independent schools are way above the rest. How do we catch up? It will be very difficult.

2. Independent schools can choose their own teachers. They most likely will produce better students than other schools. Hence, their school will keep ascending greatly leaving the rest behind. How do we catch up? How how?

3. Linked to the 2nd point. Better students = Better grades = Higher expectations which will circle back to the first thing which is EVEN BETTER STUDENTS. It's a big head start.

I feel like I'm missing out a point but I just had my maths and poa common test. I don't want to think.

Last thing, people... hypocrites are the pain. This is probably easier to connect to for most of us. You say others are mean, blunt and hurting to others. But you? You love to tease or mock others, sometimes not even considering how the person feels. But you loathe having people to do the same to you. Your probably nodding and thinking, "Yeah, soandso is always like that. So annoying". It's hard to see yourself. But you might actually be even worse than the person who you find fault with.
All of us have more than wanted experiences of such cases. Like what I said in my other post, gossip about someone if you don't wish to be gossiped about. I believe in karma. If you don't want to be mocked, then please don't mock.
